Wide pore silica gel is classified as granular particle, spherical particle and micro particle and its structure characteristics are as follows: specific surface area: 300--400m²/g, pore diameter: 80--100Å, pore volume: 0.75-1.0ml/g.

Application
Wide pore silica gel is largely used as the catalyst carrier; for purification & separation in process of pharmaceuticals production; for the adsorption of macromolecule protein in process of industrial ferment; for removal of the organic acid and high polymer from the insulating oil; for dehydration of industrial gas and adsorption of harmful multivalence elements; it can also be used for damp-proof and rust-proof purposes and used as the padding for household pets. Among these products, the wide pore granular silica gel is also a kind of basic raw material for further process of fine chemical silica gel products.
